Ready to buy your first home? Learn what you need to know
The City of Wilsonville will host a first-time homebuyers workshop this month.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 20 at Wilsonville City Hall, you can learn all there is to know if you are in the market to buy your first home.
Clackamas Community Land Trust uses the ABC’s of Homebuying curriculum developed by the Oregon Homeownership Association for use by non-profit housing organizations throughout the state. This day-long workshop is led by experts from the housing industry. A mortgage lender, a real estate agent, an insurance agent, a home inspector and a title officer are invited to talk about their role in the home buying process, programs that may assist you in purchasing a home, how to choose someone from their profession and to answer your questions.
The fee for the workshop, $30 for one person or $35 for two people, covers the cost of all materials.
